UpLIFTD has many programs serving the disabled and/or disadvantaged. Our goal is for the individual to become independent, and obtain employment.

Business Enterprises is a department of UpLIFTD specializing in Lawn Maintenance, and Janitorial work for individuals with disabilities. Our crews service many federal, state, and private businesses in Baton Rouge, Alexandria, and New Orleans. The lawn crews provide a wide range of services such as bed preparation, mowing, edging, and fertilization. UpLIFTD provides top quality custodial services to many customers in Louisiana. Janitorial services can include floor care, cleaning, waste disposal, high clean, carpets, strip/wax.

Women’s Community Rehabilitation Center (WCRC) is a 24-hr facility assisting women with persistent mental illness. The women receive counseling, job placement assistance, medicine management and various other skills to help them achieve independent living. This facility is has a comprehensive program to help these women deal with their disabilities. Another program, Supported Living Program (SLP) helps women get into apartments, startup food, and basic items.

WCRC is active in fundraising for it's program. Events are held annually such as the 2nd Annual WCRC Bowlathon to raise awareness of mental health issues.

Vocational Services offers vocational assessments, work readiness training, supported employment, and job placement for individuals with disabilities in Baton Rouge and Lafayette. The Trust Fund Program serves individuals with traumatic head injury or spinal cord injury.
